Day 8, States verses Feds not going great

Yesterday was a holiday weekend and I had a thought of working Columbus into the days image until MSNBC aired their Marijuana USA documentary and while watching it, I started putting together about and even did a twitter post to one of their articles on their website.  Although I did not watch the whole documentary of go into every detail of the associated website.  I know that Medical Marijuana is going to be a test to this nation on many levels.  States are determining for themselves how to regulate marijuana as medicine, as a substance in its own right and the Federal Government seems to be very out of touch on it's role in the rights of it citizens when its laws conflict with state law.  As the Obama administration dances around the policies that they have pledged to while the actions of the mislead and misguided so called justice department is attacking states like California and Colorado, irresponsibly "lead" by Eric Holder, many citizens lives are being destroyed by overzealous Federal Law enforcement officials.  The Federal Attorneys for these states are deputized to bully and intimidate city, county and state officials, private citizens and small business owners who are just living their lives, running their respective affairs in ordinance to the votes and wishes of their constituents or running a business in the lucrative medical marijuana dispensary business.  The Feds may be forced to retreat after this years elections when the people's voices will be heard and the Feds will either adapt to the will of the people or their will continue this way of attrition, one "they" can never win but continues to waste money, resources and creates bad will for law enforcement officials who have a hard enough time fighting real crime and criminals.  The rule of law in this matter may is being poorly interpreted at this time by the President and the Congressional branches of government and it maybe a matter for the Supreme Court to vote on.  Ultimately, it is a matter for the states to decide on they will speak loud and clear this fall.
