Columbus Day Weekend

It has been a crazy week and it was a great day to do nothing but watch TV.  So that is what I did. I watched a bit of some old 90's movie with Richard Gere, he is pulling off the grey in the hair very well and has been doing so since he did this movie.  The movie wasn't so good that is worth mentioning here though.  Harrison Ford, while watching him to his last Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skulls, like the other movie, I had seen it before.  The movie which I never watched to completion was the Girl Next Door, which I did today.  Elisha Guthbert was the star of the movie, it was a cute "coming of age/fish out of water" story about high school, taking chances, doing things your own way and a predictable ending were the hero gets the girl.  The scary thing about Resident Evil series is that it doesn't ever seem like it will end.  I caught a little zombie killing  and the sets are amazing, the fight sequences are well done with many so motion action but even with all of that, I lost interest.
The highlight of my day was bringing my replacement I phone back to life!  It is upgraded with new software which is mind blowing.  That I phone is amazing and it isn't even an I phone 5!  I got my number attached to it before the Pats game and then while I watched the Pats, I downloaded and organized my podcast college on a new Podcast app!  I missed that phone so much the 4 days that I didn't have it.
I left Boston yesterday.  It was great to get home after a week up there.  I had forgotten that MA will be voting on if Medical Marijuana ought to be legal.  It is interesting that every single state has its road to legalizing something that is a plant!  It is such madness and hopefully this madness will be coming to an end in one more progressive New England state!
