12 days shy of two years + 21 days

Since I haven't put anything in my blog for a couple of years, about a week ago I made the choice to go back to blogging and creating an image a day and post them for the next 21 days.

That is what I am going to do.

I used to record the deaths in Iraq for years but now that the war in Iraq is over, I will pay attention to the war in Afghanistan.  I will also make images that reflect what is taking place that day to include the ups and downs of my humble retirement account,movies that I have watched, pod casts that I have listened to and things that I have done.  Some days I will offers do some kinds of narrative, days like today, I won't unless I come back later and edit it.

The reflection of the deaths of US troops in Afghanistan is out of respect. It is no way meant to be anything but a tribute towards the brave men and women who are dying in a war few seem to care about and less are talking about.  It is crazy that during an election year for the President of the United States, the war is hardly a topic of debate like it was 4 years ago.  As a person who did a couple of tours in Iraq and a person who is trying to figure out what the end game in Afghanistan is, I morn the death of everyone dying over there in this now decade long war.  I hope the leaders of the United States, the country that I live in and work for, find a quick and focused retreat from the war in Afghanistan.

The Republicans couldn't put someone out there politically for dog catcher that I would like, let alone a guy to "run" the country.  This year I favor no candidate, I have lost "hope and faith" for President Obama. If I find a someone with those ideas for my country, I will support that person 110%!   I am not sure how much a person effects, decides or influences once in office as President.  I just want the war to end, Medical Marijuana to become legal in the United States and that free speech is allowed on the internet where anyone is allowed to have an opinion.

Which is a nice segue to this asshole who I guys mistook me for someone who cares if anyone knows that my name is Jim Feeney and that I am a bully, hater of those who are telling the truth, etc.  I have been Jimi Keen since the 90's and that is my user name for my FB, Twitter, Myspace and Instagram.  All have my pictures on them, my picture is on this very blog.  The person who seems to have issues with me has is a nameless internet sniper who flatters me by taking the time to respond in a dusty old blog that hadn't been written in for two years about my outdated ideas that I had two years ago.  I actually think that I know the person and it that is the case, it is just the rantings of a crazy person.
