My time in Iraq is coming to an end. While taking the bus on base, I had no choice but to listen to this fat idiot Rush talk about the polls and the "left wing media's" mean spirited and distorted perception on Senator McCain campaign. I obviously like politics and in spite of an intense personal dislike of that hypocrite Rush. I find him a harmless blowhard with little credibility and I find him informed (misinformed is more like it though) and amusing. Like Faux, I mean Fox News.I have had my first attacks on my thoughts, which I have found amusing that anyone actually reads this blog, let alone would take the time to respond to it. Even better, I have been attacked personally, in an insulting way, in a flurry of misspelled words and raw anger that I find motivating and encouraging. I must be hitting a nerve because the truth hurts. Anger is a more Republican power souse than other parties, as well as the exploitation of fear, bigotry, ignorance, and intolerance. Not that the Democrats don't have their own issues too, I will be the first to admit that. I will leave it to the fear mongers at Newsmax.com to bash the Democrats though...

....enter these fricking morons at Newsmax.com

I get an e-mail from my Father, which I will making another entree about later and the Newsmax misinformation Repubican propaganda put out! But today, I am addressing the "close polls in the race" myth. These guys at Newsmax hit all of the "talking points" like Rush did and them came out with this line...
"But the numbers don’t lie. The latest Zogby poll had John McCain trailing Obama by two points."
Hmm, well maybe numbers don't lie but I guess it is all relative to who is going the counting. Like the way Newsweek and the LA Times is counting it, Obama has a double digit lead in their respective polls.
The Newsweek article goes on to say an historic boiling over of dissatisfaction with the status quo. An astounding 86 percent of voters now say they are dissatisfied with the way things are going in the United States, while a mere 10 percent say they are satisfied.Newsweek has never seen those kind of numbers before in America's dissatisfaction over the way things are. We need a change and McCain, the Republican, the party of George Bush, who is candidate of the generation of 20th Century thinkers and Cold War mind sets, is not what the country needs at this time!!! Wake up America and vote for a change that we can live with!
